Dungquat Shipyard receives ISO 9001-2008

Dungquat Shipyard has awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certificate from British standards institution (BSI) as the quality accreditation after 2-year-application. The certification is applicable specifically for the scope of New building and repairing ship, Offshore rig and floating construction, steel work fabrication and technology system installation.

BSI reviewed the management processes and operations of Dungquat Shipyard and conducted a comprehensive and accurate assessment of all the procedures and services provided to its clients, based on which they conferred the ISO 9001:2008 certification. Dungquat Shipyard has qualified in the official audit without any non-compliance issues.

General Director, Mr. Tran Hoai An said in a statement that the company now "This certification affirms that we are providing a specialized high quality product and service system that meets the highest international standards. Furthermore, the consistent comprehensive training course for entire employee underscoring our commitment to develop and maintain quality in whatever we do. This testimonial will also serve as a strong motivation for us to further expand our capabilities and continue making prestigious service and operational quality a core focus”.

Dungquat Shipyard is now newbuilding and repairing ship for clients such as Pvtrans and Vietsovpetro. With the event, the project is ensured to be conducted under an international managerial standard to meet high requirements from the clients.
