DQS marks a promising cooperation with Shipowner Handelskade (Netherlands)

On the morning of February 22, 2024, at the headquarters of Dung Quat Shipbuilding Industry Company (DQS), a contract signing ceremony for a 5,000 DWT multi-purpose ship series took place between DQS and Handelskade Shipsales B.V (Netherlands).

This is DQS's first newbuilding contract in 2024, after continuous efforts of negotiating with Handelskade Shipsales B.V Company (Netherlands), it marks an important step in the cooperation process between the two companies. ty. This new contract is not only the result of a close negotiation process but also a deep understanding of the needs and business goals of both parties.

This new contract will include specific provisions on the rights and responsibilities of both parties. It is known that the series of 5000DWT ships newly built at DQS this time has 4 ships, with hull symbols according to the DQS-01 design; DQS-02; DQS-03 and DQS-04, Vessels have an overall length of 99.96 m; 13.60 m wide; side height 6.80 m; Design draft 5.20 m. The ship is designed by designer CMT ENGINEERING (Romania) and classified by RINA Register (Italy). Immediately after signing the contract, DQS will focus on all preparations and will begin implementation from the end of the first quarter of 2024.
