Establishment and Development

Dung Quat Shipbuilding Industry Ltd. Company (DQS) was established on 20/02/2006 as a member of Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. Implement the strategic of restructuring Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation of the Government, on 01/07/2010 DQS was transferred to Vietnam Oil and Gas Group for management and exploitation.

Right after establishment, DQS has focused on setting up the management system, qualified, experience and professional employees through training programs and in particular self-training program for employees, to master the technology of new building up to 300,000 dwt and repairing successfully floating transport such as rigs, oil storage tankers, barges, tugs ...which are highly appreciated by ship owners and Classification. Besides, DQS constantly strive to perfect the management system, enhance production efficiency, strengthen cooperation and market expansion ....

DQS believe that under the leadership and close attention of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, DQS constantly dedicate and overcome all difficulties, challenges, to become the leading shipbuilding company in the Southeast Asian region.
